Quantum Systems, a company of electric vertical liftoff and landing (eVTOL) aerial intelligence solutions, announced the grand opening of its new 135,000-square-foot U.S.
production and combination facility at 609 Science Drive in Moorpark, California.
This site marks a substantial expansion of Quantum Systems U.S.
footprint and represents a critical action in reacting to the growing need for its tactical uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), making it possible for the company to provide scalable innovation at speed.Strategically located in Southern California, the brand-new site will support defense and security partners across North America and Latin America.
Quantum Systems anticipates to use more than 100 professionals in Moorpark and the higher Ventura County area by the end of 2025, adding to the areas broadening aerospace and defense ecosystem. This is more than a new building.
Its a launchpad for scaled development, said Dave Sharpin, CEO of Quantum-Systems Inc.
Were investing in the future of defense innovation with a center constructed to satisfy the need for inexpensive mass, AI-powered ISR, and sped up fielding of next-generation systems.
Were proud to grow our workforce in Southern California and to serve our clients with even higher speed and agility.Renovated and outfitted to support the full advancement lifecycle, the facility homes safe and secure production lines, engineering laboratories, internal flight operations, research study and development areas, and administrative and leadership workplaces.
This integrated environment allows end-to-end production, coordination, and improvement of Quantum Systems Family of Systemsincluding Vector AI, Twister, and Reliantwhile substantially decreasing lead times and increasing responsiveness to developing mission requirements.Florian Seibel, Founder and Co-CEO of Quantum-Systems GmbH told UAS Vision: The opening of this new center by Quantum Systems Inc., our U.S.
subsidiary, marks a significant advance in transatlantic defense cooperation.
As a German-founded company, we see this investment as a way to align European engineering excellence with U.S.
operational needs.
It enhances commercial ties in between our countries and supports the fast shipment of scalable, autonomous ISR abilities to frontline forces across the alliance. With active operations in Germany, Australia, Ukraine, Romania, and the UK, Quantum Systems continues to broaden its global footprint to meet increasing demand for autonomous, modular ISR solutions.
Operations throughout the United States have now been combined at the Science Drive place, replacing the companys previous sites in Moorpark.
This centralization simplifies production and enhances partnership throughout functions to support defense and security customers. To commemorate the opening, Quantum Systems held a grand opening event, welcoming defense officials, market partners, and media for a direct look at its scalable approach to aerial intelligence, developed around modular design, autonomy at the edge, and deep system interoperabilitySource: Quantum-Systems Inc.
