TEHRAN-- The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Thursday saying the French federal government bears undeniable responsibility for an anti-cultural and anti-human relocation by the infamous Charlie Hebdo magazine in publishing offending caricatures of Irans top politico and religious authority. In response to this negative move, Iran revealed it is revising its cultural relations with Paris by ending the activities of the French Institute for Research in Iran as an initial step.

The relocation came a day after Iran had alerted Paris of repercussions and summoned the French ambassador. The ministry stated the Paris government is very first and primary responsible to deal with offenses of the sanctity of flexibility, breach of human rights, insults against spiritual worths and beliefs and threats to the nationwide sovereignty of other countries by legal and natural persons. The ministry condemned in the strongest terms the infamous French magazines relocation to run over on recognized moral norms, savagely violate spiritual sanctities, disrespect the sanctum of the political religious authority, and insult the Iranians state symbols and nationwide values, Press television reported. The statement added that in the past years, the French publication has repeatedly provoked Muslims anger by releasing insulting cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
