Advisory issued over thundershowers and severe lightning

The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for severe lightning in several provinces and districts today (11). 

Thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are likely to occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central, North-western, Uva and North-central provinces and in Mannar and Vavuniya districts, it said.
